With over twenty years of experience as a dedicated pianist and more than a decade as a passionate music educator, Deb Hedley brings both artistry and mentorship to every facet of her work. Her performance background spans a versatile repertoire—from the intricate ornamentation of Baroque masterworks to the expressive depth of Romantic literature and Contemporary favorites—allowing her to connect meaningfully with audiences and students alike.

As an educator, Deb has spent over a decade cultivating confident, expressive, and technically strong musicians. Her students have earned placements in prestigious competitions, including the Capital Region’s Chopin Competition, and have successfully prepared for college auditions, NYSSMA evaluations, and competitive summer music programs. She has also guided students in securing leading roles in musical theatre productions and summer camps, equipping them with both musical precision and stage confidence. Known for her structured yet encouraging approach, Deb tailors instruction to each student’s goals—whether pursuing advanced classical repertoire, audition preparation, or personal artistic growth.

In addition to her piano studies, Deb provides professional piano performances for weddings, recitals, and corporate functions, delivering polished and heartfelt interpretations across diverse musical styles. As a collaborative pianist, she partners with vocalists, instrumentalists, and ensembles for rehearsals, recitals, auditions, and examinations, bringing sensitivity, reliability, and musical insight to every collaboration.
